| Player of the Year vote 21:46 - Apr 20 with 1527 views | LeistonBlue | Just submitted my vote.. on a whim actually went with Walton. I think he’s shown far more consistency than any other player and took his opportunity tremendously after Palmer’s injury. Has been completely dependable and hardly put a foot wrong all season, alongside some frankly ridiculous saves. Who’s everyone else going for? | | | | |

Top scorer (third top in the league, from left wing), most chances created (right up there in the league again), (only one assist but that's hardly his fault), some really important goals and always looks like he can make something happen. Was playing second fiddle to Jaden at the start of situation but bettered him for output per minute played and since he's got into the starting XI he's kicked on further. Agree that Dara, CW and Azor are the others to pick from. And while he's probably not quite in the conversation, a special mention to Jack Taylor, whom I don't think anyone thought would be playing as many games as he has.

If the past few weeks hadn't panned out how they have for Azor it would be a no brainer. So for me regardless of the past few weeks and his drop in form , whether it be due to injury or not , he gets it 100%. The guy has been run ragged and is most definitely running on fumes |
The 17 game run with no cards, and still keeping up his form was epic. Probably recency bias for me in not really being sure whether he or Clarke should get it, and Azor is entitled to be running on fumes with the role he plays, and starting every game. However, he has dipped of late, no question, and I do think Clarke should be praised for his attacking output when so many have disappointed. Having said all that, on the "+/- per 90" stat (i.e. goal difference during the period when a particular player is on the pitch, but then averaged for each period of 90 mins played), Clarke fares relatively badly, which surprised me a lot.

I wanted to vote Phil Ham, but it says people working at the club. I guess he is, kind of, working at the club, sometimes...
