Leicester are an absolute mess. They haven't won a game in ages. hardly any of the fans will turn up & most of the players know they won't be there next season. Unless Millwall mess up (they've been very good on the road & grinding out results) I'd be very surprised if they didn't win. | |

So were we in 2019 with only 4 wins until the last game of the season when we beat Leeds 3.2. Every year there are one of two completely unexpected results involving a relegated club. Here's hoping Friday is one of them. | | | |

At the risk of stating the obvious it'll go 1 of 2 ways wont it. I can see Rowett demanding a reaction, and while they're down we might see a bit of a dead cat bounce as they play with more freedom and acceptance of their fate. They might also want to walk off the pitch without being abused for once. I think it probably helps that its in front of the eyes of Sky on a Friday night rather than tucked away at 3pm on Saturday.
Equally few of them will be there next season, Rowett probably wont either, and they know that. They probably just want the season to end now and get their agents busy. They've not shown any balls up until this point, so it wouldn't surprise me if they roll over to a Millwall side that'll have the motivation to out run and out work them.
If I were in Ashton's shoes I'd be on the phone to a few of those agents today. Send a couple of scouts along and let them know we want to take a few of them here if we get up to the premier league. |  | | |
