| Furlong confirmed my vote for POTY last night (n/t) on 10:00 - Apr 23 with 728 views | TRUE_BLUE123 | He had a good game and he is largely a pretty solid defender. The reason I cant give him POTS is because in possession I think our right hand side has been pretty poor this season. There have been plenty of games where our left hand side has been marked out of the game and we just have nothing coming from the other half of the pitch and its probably a contributing factor to a fair few disappointing performances this season. He has been a decent singing though, come in and done a job. | |

I'm not trying to be negative but Furlong is so average for me. Passes back to O'shea 95% of the time he has the ball at his feet and gets ran past by any quick winger. Has been a solid enough player for us but I would hope we would upgrade next season, no matter what league we're in.

He's been struggling last few games following the knock against Birmingham but I thought he was better last night. Over the season he's been immense and has generally got better and better. Honourable mentions to Philogene, O'Shea, and Furlong.

I think that is a fair assessment.

Matusiwa for me. So many games for us this season he has dominated the midfield.
| Furlong confirmed my vote for POTY last night (n/t) on 12:02 - Apr 23 with 507 views | bsw72 | He is a solid reliable top end Championship / maybe mid and lower Prem fullback, but for contribution and influence, surely the shortlist has to be O'Shea, Walton and Matusiwa, with honourable mentions for Philogene and Clarke for services to goalscoring and penalties, and Kipre for services to defending. No-on else has consistently performed week in, week out - doesn't mean their contributions have not been vital at different times, but those first three names I mention have maintained a high level of performance most consistently. | | | |

He is not a mid prem fullback.

He would get destroyed in the Prem
| Furlong confirmed my vote for POTY last night (n/t) on 15:09 - Apr 23 with 337 views | Xatticus | He is certainly underappreciated. In the six matches played without him this season, we have totaled four points with six goals scored and ten conceded. I can't help but wonder why he wasn't signed until the end of August. | | | |
| Furlong confirmed my vote for POTY last night (n/t) on 19:06 - Apr 23 with 213 views | balticblue | Furlong may not be a fancydan, but he is far and away our best player at “housery”. Something the rest of our squad could learn from. Love him As a barometer of my thoughts, my favourite ever town player is Richard Naylor! (And I’ve been going since the late seventies!) | | | |
