Anyone got any experience with the Parkingeye people in Town. 15:10 - Apr 24 with 500 viewsbluelagos

Used Halfords for a car MOT/Service on a midweek day - and a follow up visit on the Saturday (They asked me to come back to reset the warning lights)

Both visits I left the car with them - one all day, one for 3+ hours.

Had 2 parking tickets. Appealed both - provided proof of the original Halfords booking and of payment (to Halfords)

Both appeals now been rejected - and being told I have to appeal via POPLA (Parking on peoples land appeals)

Anyone gone through to this stage? Confident I can show I had a booking for the Wednesday and proof of payment - got nothing for the Saturday but it did relate to the original visit.

Experiences? Thoughts?

Edit- Correction - the first one has been cancelled - is the second visit that has been rejected.

Edit2: Just phoned Halfords for proof of the 2nd visit and he cancelled it over the phone.

Jobs a goodun.

Did they sort it ok?

Bit annoyed - as on the Saturday - I specifically asked the guy about the parking and he told me it would be good as I was now "on the system"...

Happened to be- just go to Halfords and tell them what happened and they should tell parking eye to expunge them

I would ask Halfords to confirm the cancellation by email.

A couple of years ago I received a parking ticket in Southampton. I was actually on a cruise ship at the time heading up the channel to Southampton . The terminal we were due to return to was changed at short notice which required hundreds of cars to be moved. They missed my registration off the list I was assured it would be cancelled but it wasn’t, even got threatened with involvement of debt collectors.

Glad you got it sorted. These c**** would be first up against the wall in my revolution. They’re just preying on people hoping those who can’t or won’t appeal will fund their bonuses. People shouldn’t have to jump through hoops to prove they’ve parked correctly. Some a-hole issued a ticket to me one while I was queuing up at the ticket machine. They’re all the scum of the earth imo.

Other than that, I’ve no opinion about them really
