But you've got a point of course. Let's say Walton and Palmer get sent off after 35 minutes with straight reds and Button gets a second yellow ten minutes into the second half, we're gonna have to hold out for 35 minutes plus at least 5 of extra time. I can't see us doing that against QPR who'll have the whole nation behind them because of Ashton's far right leanings and the FA propping us up with dodgy penalties. But I don't want to panic or anything, but it would be such an Ipswich thing to do because we always mess up on promotions.

I Must admit this thought had crossed my mind in the last couple of days. I'm trying so hard to stay positive, but these intrusive thoughts keep popping up!
I've watched so much dross, and put up with us having so little to play for in the final days of the majority of seasons I've witnessed. Why am I finding it so hard to enjoy it now we are fighting for promotion? I definitely didn't feel this tense, or physically sick last time we went through the Championship. |  | | |

There is always jeopardy in every football match which is why there is no guarantee Millwall or Boro will win either. It could easily end up that a draw is enough for us.
But it is also why it would have been much nicer to have got the win on Tuesday night.
One other thing. Even if we get a bad decision go against us early on, go a goal behind or get a red card, it doesn't stop us winning the match. COYB! |  |

It might not be the best thing to convince yourself of.
I have convinced myself they are going to be playing for pride and determined to show they can get a result against a team at the top end of the table.
That way, if they do play well it is no surprise and, if they do happen to roll over it is a pleasant surprise.
Ultimately we should have enough to beat them however well we play. But we need to go out there and do it! | |
