Depends what you mean as a back up. Third choice striker maybe but definitely not as a back up to a main striker. If our main striker got injured i wouldn't want to rely on Hirst in the premiership. We need to learn a lesson from the last time we went up. |

Come off it mate. It's not my fault or anyone else's in the crowd that Hirst has been so poor this season. You're being ridiculous.
He's been a big let down at a time when we all expected and needed him to step up. McKenna put his faith in Hirst as the main main and he hasn't delivered, you can't deny that. A good performance yesterday doesn't erase what we've seen for the other 45 games and there is a now a big question mark over whether he stays at the club for me. [Post edited 3 May 14:43]

Maybe, but I think we will try to avoid huge changes as they have made the last 2 seasons difficult. We have plenty who will still be there come August and Hirst will be there too, yes as a third striker as he has shown he can score in the prem. |  |
