Assuming you don't consider his unique rapid downstroke- only playing-style involving only three or four barre chords a guitar solo, this song does feature Johnny Ramone playing short more traditional solos but blink and you'll miss it

Ah, the sparse punk guitar solo, a thing of rare beauty, from 02:20:
I have to say I was never a bit TFF fan back in the day, but their latest couple of albums have been awesome. I would go so far as to say that leaning into the more proggy side of their sound is giving them a whole new audience....like me!
I don’t know about Guitar solo but one of my favourite Bass intros has got to be from Black Sabbath and NIB.if someone would be as kind enough to post it for this little computer retard.Thanks.

There you are, think Harold Wilson's Labour government were in power when this was recorded and released...

N.I.B is a great song but I have never like having two versions of the guitar solo superimposed on top of eachother. It is like they could not decide what solo they liked best so they thought "sod it we will use both". Sounds odd and too experimental to me. Apparently the name N.I.B is derived from the drummer's goatee beard that looked like a pen nib. Back in the ancient days when people actually still used ink pens.
Not a flashy solo but very effective and I've always loved the way Noel sustains the final note for a couple of bars. Understated but very effective. From approx 2:20.
"I don't want to be like everyone else. That's why I'm a mod, see?"
I was going to post some Van Halen in response to your Lynyrd Skynyrd on Pate two but listened to a couple of tracks from the first album and decided they hadn't aged well enough. Anyway, page three and no Freddie King yest ?
