Released by Fiorentina after some injury problems. Right back and only 25 with Prem experience with Brighton.

Also very much in the "extra attacker" mould of full back too, which I very much assume we're not really after.

Depends how fit he can be/is ACL injury kept him out for a while, some players can come back and carry on, some don't recover well..

Wouldn't suit us for RB in that he's better (or was) going forward than he is defending.

He looked real quality a few years ago, maybe if we were planning on switching to a back 5 then he should be an upgrade on Johnson at right wing-back, otherwise he doesn't fit

Yeah, non starter for me. Looked superb for Brighton at times but doesn't fit that RB profile at all.

He's small and very attacking - he's the opposite to what McKenna has wanted in the past - Donacien, Clarke, Tuanzebe and Furlong are all big and are defensive full backs most of whom can also play as central defenders

McKenna tends to favour more of a physical profile in the RB position of the Tuanzebe / Furlong persuasion. Perhaps a consequence of Leif's presence and his bias to get forward and create, but that's unlikely to change in the Premier League. I think Furlong had an excellent season but I do expect us to look to upgrade at right back, I just can't see it being an attacking 5ft nothing quasi winger profile.

hm, I think Fiorentina describing his situation as "complex medical situation" means most clubs will steer clear.

As most have pointed out he doesn't really fit our RB role but he does interest me as that defensive RW we've seen Ben Johnson play before. Regardless, if you could get him back to playing like he did before you'd turn a nice profit on him but I can't see that being us.
