North stand were just getting safe standing in front of their normal seat ?

Ten of us in my group sit in these two rows and we all have to log in on Tuesday to find new seats. How many we'll get together is another matter. Two more of our group are in row c and not affected. They will get left behind. Sad really as some of us have been standing/sitting together in there since the mid 1980's. I totally get the need for change as we progress with success and have no problem regarding the move in itself. My only problem being that we have to move as individuals rather than one person organising a move for the group together (even though we are all linked as family and friends on the ticketing system). I may even be split from my two sons after all these years. It is all down to hope and being quick on Tuesday!

That's a disgrace. Surely they can apply some common sense?

You'd have thought so. I sounded out the ticket office on this matter this afternoon but they were stood firm that we have to do it individually. I'm sure the stance would have been much different if we were elsewhere in the ground and my son's weren't adults. They would have let us move together then - you'd hope!

A good job you and Robson are not involved in this mate and having to look for new seats as individuals like me and my sons lol.

It'll be interesting to see if those being made to move will be able to choose the new seats being installed by the tunnel, or whether they'll be held back for other purposes.

There you go then, ask for seats near the tunnel entrance and get back to us!

Obviously not ideal having to move, but you should be okay finding seats together although ten might be a challenge. About 150 people who currently sit in rows A or B of SBR block 5 are affected. But 3 rows of 30 seats have been installed in SBR blocks 4 and 6 where the disabled sections were, plus a few extra in the corners. They've also released the covered/unsold seats in row C of SBR block 5. So 200+ in total. Hopefully the ticket office will see sense and allow the people in your group who sit in row C to move with you, before seats moves are opened up to everyone. I don't understand why the ticket office don't process these enforced seat moves, as taking the 'fastest finger first' approach means groups will be split up unnecessarily. [Post edited 22 May 4:11]
