No Leicester cast-offs thank you. 08:05 - May 24 with 1276 viewsgosblue

There appears to be a culture of Leicester's so called superstars not performing for the manager, the shirt or the club. It started when they fell out of love with Ranieri after they had won the PL title.

Since they "fell out of love" with Ranieri they've won the fa cup, had two 5th place finishes in the PL and won the championship, so I think you've gone back a bit far with your start of the demise

Something is very clearly not right at that club as they've got players in that squad that have played well in the prem before. Will be interesting to see where a lot of them end up

I'd take Fatawu & Monga in a heartbeat. Jordan James was only there on loan, but I'd happily see him rock up to Portman Road for next season too.
While there were/are serious problems at that club, they were still good enough, on their day, to take 4 points off us & deny Millwall a win late on, that ultimately gave us automatic promotion.

Everything seemed fine until they sadly lost their owner, it's come across as a very different club since he passed away.

There must be one or two redeemable characters in there.

Totally dependent upon knowing their characters well enough though.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!

Yes you're right but I think it started back then. When they don't like a manager they seem to go on strike. I'm probably wrong but even Vardi, Maddison and Dewsbury-Hall have appeared to down tools at times to bring about change. I've always kept a hopeful eye on Leicester because back then I used to think 'That could be us.' Look at the squad they have now. Most of those names shouldnt even be mentioned in the same sentence as League One.

I think you can trace this back to their chairman's helicopter dropping out of the sky.
No need to go any further than that.

Agreed. watched a few of their games when they were kicked out of the Premier League first time around. The attitude of the players stank the place out. They stopped trying. Obviously 23/24 they did ok, but the last two seasons they’ve been beyond awful. Attitude, everything about them was poor.

I believe Winks is on £80k a week. From what I’ve seen £80 a week would be robbery. It’s no good having ‘big names’ even in League One. That’s a tough old league and unless they get players who are willing to roll their sleeves up, want to play for the club and give it 100%, they’ll be in L1 a long time.

They may have a prospect or two worth pillaging but I wouldn’t touch their rotten first team squad with a barge pole.

Wiki says £5m option to buy for Leicester from Rennes. I haven’t noticed him tbh. Is he any good?
