Really wanted Spurs down. Never mind. Bubbles is mind-numbing and that athletics stadium will look/sound weird half full next season.

I was just thinking that

That stadium in the EFl is gonna be strange . 14 years they’ve been in the PL

The championship looks brutal next year. Glad we’re out of it

The standard of the championship stays roughly the same - sometimes a team runs away with it and sometimes a few stay in the mix until the end. But the standard stays roughly the same.

Agree regarding the standard of the Championship Matt.

But that barn of a stadium really is going to look odd next season. I’ll be interested in how West Ham sit financially with this. I suspect they’ll be ok but lose a few players. Whether that sinks them I’ve no idea.

I know the arrangement with the Olympic Stadium is odd and I’d be interested in what it is and what contingency they have.

I think there was a thread on here recently about the amount they pay to a public body involved there being reduced under their contract.

Never forget that on 7th. April 2021, for ITFC, the Game Changed.

I'd happily take that Castellanos off them maybe even Diouf. They're going to go through a lot of changes, no PL money will cripple them

you are my ipswich !!

Harsh on London tax-payers - Wer Sham will only pay 2.2m (of the 4.4m rental fee) for the White Elephant staidum whilst they're in the Championship. Londoners will be taxed to make up the shortfall.

I think they will be ok regarding the stadium still get a fair few in.

I did laugh when I heard the Leeds fans celebrating West Ham’s pain

Yes, I enjoyed hearing the Leeds mob mocking them. West Ham’s shower certainly enjoyed taking the mickey out of us a year ago so they can suck it up.

By all accounts they’re set to lose their best players to make up the income shortfall of £100m plus and there’s no guarantee they won’t find it tough in the Championship. I hope they do. For years.

‘Academy of Football’ is printed on one of the huge spaces between pitch and stand. Yeah, right.
