There's probably quite a few Ben Johnsons in that list. Not a terrible player & did fine for us when picked, but you could see why he wasn't our first choice. |
Sadly for him he is now first choice utility player in the squad. The exact same position he was in with the spammers.

Allan Saint-Maximin is an interesting shout. Still only 29 & definitely has the quality needed for the league. Has played on the left side a lot, but more than useful on the right too; as an out of contract player, worth a thought. |
He’s the fella that played for Newcastle isn’t he? Assuming I’m right, my geordie chum thought him immensely talented but not a team player and had heard he was difficult to deal with.
If there’s any truth in that (if not why is a talented player like that messing about in pub leagues then not being signed by Lens where he’s been since Feb?).
