| Internet Conspiracy Theory 19:39 - May 26 with 3278 views | Chris_ITFC | … going round about UK TV cutting away from Asian players lifting trophies. Theories include racism or some kind of governmental ploy from the Asian countries, requesting their own / rival nation players aren’t shown being so successful. Some ITFC account is one of those banging the drum loudest (5m views!)… The original post translates as: In England🏴, it's become a customary event for the camera to switch away right before the 🏆 lifts of Asian players like Park Ji-sung, Shinji Okazaki, Takumi Minamino, and Kusanoff. Among the women, Chelsea's Mai Hamano has also fallen victim. Meanwhile, Daichi Kamada successfully tricked the camera with a 🏆 lift fake and pulled off a ghostly evasion 🔥 | |

I can't call them 'theories' as that would mean they have some intellect. They rely on people repeating them in order to exist. Without oxygen, they quickly die. A large number of those 5m view will be people world wide saying 'lads, have you seen this'. A more accurate figure would be 'watched in full', but that stat doesn't exist. [Post edited 27 May 8:54]

I'm torn as to what's more disappointing: The 'theory' The 'theory' being posted on here The effort some feel the need to go to the debunk the 'theory' That anybody gives the 'theory' any credence whatsoever That I've been hooked in to comment on anything relating to the 'theory' or The absolute abomination that's the term 'trophy lift'... | |

| Internet Conspiracy Theory on 13:16 - May 27 with 264 views | J2BLUE | Daichi Kamada didn't want to lift the trophy. He only did it once his team mates insisted so the idea he deliberately tricked the cameras to be shown on tv is ridiculous. | | | |
