Seriously. Did McKenna respect you when he agreed terms with Brighton…, Palace? Spoke to Chelsea and Utd, and had had extensive talks with Fulham before an official approach?

You really didn’t like him did you? Or seemingly like us either come to that. Maybe you could learn a lesson from this and have less conviction in your fantasies. I’d argue it’s fine to hypothesise, but unless you actually know what’s happening it’s best to leave room for a little doubt and entertain the idea that you may not be right.
I agree with quite a lot that you say about the cynicism and corruption of the game by money, but not everything has to be viewed through that lens. To say Kieran wasn’t emotionally invested is a ridiculous claim for example. You only had to watch him on the touchline to see what it meant to him. |  |
