It’s not the US equipment, the broadcast quality for other US sports is excellent. It is likely to be how ITV and BBC are handling the feeds. Very much a step down from the quality of Sky sports Ultra HD. |  | |  |

I think ref cam is really interesting. For years we’ve seen replays where refs get decisions wrong and the biggest complaint is that the ref had a clear line of vision so how did he get it wrong? Yet in reality it’s nothing like that. |  |

The problem is ref cam doesn't show what the ref sees, it cant its just a single 2d image from a fixed position aside his head. With no depth of field or peripheral vision. Its a gimmick |  | |  |
