I love this idea of not needing to be secretive, whilst on a forum with literally hundreds of posts and comments debating and speculating who the new manager is and a lot of interest in the role, not to mention a betting market where people will be betting serious cash
Yet we expect contractors on site not to be interested, nose around, be inquisitive or gossipy, even if they are not town supporters. Its human nature and we are all here proving it
So I would totally do the same and reveal it properly and officially, until then everything is speculation, or until a contractor has taken photos of a car or person from 100m away 3 hours before an announcement. What else they going to do? get the contractors to hide in a cupboard, or promise to close their eyes whilst on site?

They’ll all be in their vans drinking tea or in Ashton’s office bending his ear about their mates surfing trip to the Maldives*. Should be easy enough to work around that.
