Fan and player safety. There are nearly 30 deaths a year in the states due to lightening. The storms they get are far more severe than the UK. Bolt after bolt. It’s not “just raining”.
Last year 140 people died in Texas due to storms and flooding. Many of them children attending a summer camp. I was there at the time and it was awful. |  |
