| Selling Jaden 13:52 - Jul 9 with 4599 views | BelsteadCav | There’s no doubting the boys talent, but if we could get 30m+ I’d sell him. Especially as Oh Neil likes hard working teams. We can’t have any passengers this season as I think it’s going to be even tougher than last time | |

| Selling Jaden on 13:56 - Jul 9 by Cheltenham_Blue | Why will it be tougher than last time. Leeds and Sunderland stayed up, the latter of which will have a much tougher time this season, Hull are considerably weaker than any side in the division. Two established PL teams in Wolves and Wet Sham have dropped out of the league and we did some of the Premier League recruitment in 2024. If anything it'll be marginally easier. |
Sunderland qualified for Europe and bought 10 exceptional players all ready for this level. Leeds signed huge talent, DCL, Stach etc and just signed Harry Wilson who was linked with Liverpool and many champions league clubs (must have been some package they put together). I think you need to take the rise tinted specs off!! Because we got 22 points, and they both got totals it would have taken us OVER two seasons to get, doesn’t make them ‘lucky’ or outliers. Did you actually watch them play last season? And us??? They deserved their points and results, neither will be in the relegation mix this season.., you’d think k maybe if you’d watched the World Cup you’d realise the quality Sunderland signed!! TWO strikers ripping it up and one of the best midfielders in the league. Our 22 point season was dreadful. They spent the same as us, but SO much better - that’s going to make it HARDER .., they’re way better than West Ham and Wolves - two sides that beat us easily, and would both beat us tomorrow and every other day! We have a HUGE amount of work to do in the market, with the dane decision makers and process that got it so wrong last time. Sunderland are so bad - Ashton has already decided to try and replicate them!! That’s so small minded and amateurish it’s pathetic, Sunderland should be looking at US, we were way ahead of them two seasons ago. Maybe you clapping and pretending we only had to be better than Morecombe and Oxford doesn’t work at this level!! That’s the difference at this level. In the EFL recruitment is desirable, at this level it’s essential, world class or go home! That’s to stay up. If you think this 25 gets 15 points you don’t 1% understand football. Deluded beyond words. Clap away, something something Morecombe.

| Selling Jaden on 16:21 - Jul 9 by Leaky | So just because he has changed his agent everyone assumes his leaving. I think I'll give the internet a rest for a while. |
There were rumours before he changed his agent, for me despite having a good season he never looked fully part of it, goals v Norwich and to clinch promotion seemed quite meh to him. Maybe I’m wrong and it’s just his nature to be more reserved. Would be a loss as could certainly flourish in the prem

In the last ten days you have posted over 20 times about Ipswich Town, not one of them positive. Just repeating the same thing. I’m beginning to think you don’t like the CEO, former manager, new manager, current players, recruitment team, car park attendant and Bluey. Mind you, only three words in capitals to drive home those new messages (not) in thirteen paragraphs shows you are gradually improving. Sort of. The fixation with Morecambe that nobody else has mentioned - did your ice cream fall off your cone there a few years ago? It’s very strange. Maybe you should seek help.
| Selling Jaden on 08:12 - Jul 10 with 340 views | Churchman | In my opinion, you don’t sell your best players unless you have to. If JP wants away, then fine. Get what you can for him which given what players are going for, is over £30m I think he’s a terrific player. When in full flow, worth the entrance money alone. He’s a better player than when he arrived and has clearly learned a lot in that time. He has a languid appearance and is not the expressive so it’s easy to see why people might think him lazy or disinterested. He really isn’t and is certainly no passenger. He’s not the biggest but whilst you do need a lot of physicality in a PL team, there is room for talent and pace too, especially out wide. I hope he stays because I think both him and Clarke will do well in the Premier League on one condition. The spine of the side has to be a lot stronger. That’s the key for me. As for it being tougher than last time, I think it’ll be about the same. We start from a much stronger base, squad wise, but we do need additional strength in those key positions. It’ll be interesting. | | | |
