I did think they looked shot physically, said to my dad after 40 mins they didn’t look like they had any legs.

We did look to have put in a hell of a lot early in the game - the pressing until the first advert break was fantastic to be fair. So we needed to make changes when that began to tell. Kane off, Rice off and more legs down the middle. Sh!t management.

Indeed. How we didn't concede earlier when our LWB was playing as a LCB and leaving their 4 & 7 as much space to get in a cross as they wanted, I don't know.

I agree, I thought at the time, why take off a guy who is so pumped after scoring for his country in the semi final for a decent but not outstanding defender.
The message to all was, we are going to try to defend this lead and give up possession, pace and an attacking outlet.
I feared the worst when that happened.
