Not only does he look a great player he is also a very popular player known for his work rate etc, so financially and commercially this is also a good deal for the club. Shirt sales, sponsorship opportunities, training camps or pre season games in Japan. I’m sure MA is all over it!

Could also bring a whole new audience to the club, not sure how avid the Japanese are of Premier League football but if it could entice a fair few number to visit home games we could save a few quid on staff cleaning up after games.
