If you buy a ticket for yourself and a friend/family - does the friend's ticket get emailed to you or them?

Do they then do the google wallet thing?

Cheers

Think that's why they wait so late to issue the tickets - to discourage professional touts who use reselling platforms.

The tourist coming from Scandanavia is thus far more likely to use the club hospitality offer.

Premier league - effectively fighting ticket touting whilst enabling the clubs to repackage tickets at inflated prices.

Legalised touting good, illegal touting bad.

That's undoubtedly true but I suppose I was focusing on the type of away ticket sharing that goes on amongst fellow Ipswich fans who are mates.

I didn't understand that.
Really asking for a friend here. Are you saying If you forward the email containing the ticket to someone else without opening it first the new recipient can use the e-ticket?

For ManU specifically? I can't answer that definitely, as I don't have a ticket - but, if the e-ticket is distributed by email, then yes - it is almost certain that you could just forward the email to anyone else, and they could use it.

As I understand it for ManU home fan tickets, you get the e-ticket through the ManU app, and can only add it to the phone's digital wallet from the app. That gives them an extra level of security, as they can digitally link the app, account and tickets to that phone. They haven't (from what I understand) expanded that level of security to away tickets. Yet...

When I was a teen and living away from Suffolk, I would often pick up the paper on a Saturday, look at the fixtures that day (and they were all that day at 3pm) and decide on the morning which game I fancied going to, rock up and pay on the gate.

Did it for games at Maine Road, Anfield, Goodison, Elland Road, Wolves, Hawthornes, Oakwell as a student.

Now I have to have a membership, a mobile phone, an app and be organised enough to know what I am doing in 4 weeks time and hope the tickets don't go on sale when I happen to be offline for a couple of days...
