On a Samsung phone, you’ll probably have Samsung wallet installed by default. You need to go to the Google Play store and download & install Google wallet. Once installed, clicking the link for Google wallet for the purchased ticket will add it to Google wallet. |  | | |

Yes, you need a Google account to link the Google wallet to, but the Google account can be linked to any email address you have.
If you already have a Google Play account, you’ll not need to do anything more. Open the screen which has all your apps listed I. Alphabetical order.
Type "wallet" into the search bar at the top.
There it is!

I think it must be a phone age thing as I didn't have Google wallet but downloaded it last year in order to store an art gallery membership.
EDIT. My phone is from 2020 or 2021 and this is what Wikipedia says.

Multiple use is prevented by digital cryptography. When you click the link for the digital ticket a session is opened with a cloud ticket server. A one-use token is issued at that point, which allows you to add an encrypted ticket to your phone. That token is then marked as used, and trying the digital ticket link again will result in the server knowing it has already been consumed, blocking it being added to further wallets. | | | |

Think that's why they wait so late to issue the tickets - to discourage professional touts who use reselling platforms.
The tourist coming from Scandanavia is thus far more likely to use the club hospitality offer.
Premier league - effectively fighting ticket touting whilst enabling the clubs to repackage tickets at inflated prices.
