Looks fairly clear that UEFA have had enough and aren't going to give way given they filed a court order to stop the destruction of documents.

I fear UEFA has overplayed its hand. Very few associations have officially withdrawn support, and more countries have come out backing Infantino than opposing him. It's not surprising; why would they bite the hand that feeds them?
As for the U20 Women's World Cup, Poland are unlikely to withdraw from a competition they are hosting and competing in for the first time. That plus threatening who hosts the Men's World Cup final over Spain is fracturing Europe.
The English FA publicly withdrawing support means we can forget any chance of winning the right to host a major football tournament for the next few years. |  |

Just on the subject of hosting under 20 and under 17 world cups men and women… FIFA are very flexible/cavalier shall we say in dropping and appointing hosts and also delaying at the drop of a hat for all manner of reasons … I’ve seen it many times in the last decade.
So maybe not the biggest issue…. For FIFA anyway. [Post edited 6 Aug 21:05]

On the first point, if UEFA did stay firm then those nations will have considerably less to feed them, its rather obvious that any World Cups etc not featuring Europe will generate nowhere near as much revenue as they do today
Second paragraph is rather more pertinent though, it’s one thing UEFA standing tough but persuading the member nations to stay in line behind might be a much trickier ask! |  |
