I recall seeing a youth team match being played out there.

If so, where are all the holiday/evening groups taking place with kids? Or are they are not happening anymore?

Poll: Who would you play at right centre back on Saturday?

Talked about this back in the planning permission thread. The architect renders made it look like the finished surfacing was no longer the current astro practice pitch, but the Design and Access Statement didn't cover ground works over that area. So my guess is that it's staying for now, but longer term whether plans are an arena or fan zone it will change next summer.

That said, with that many vehicles parked on it all summer it will be in a terrible state when the season kicks off.

Longer term that's where they're planning to build the arena, I believe. Think it will come under club ownership rather than being part of the IBC lease as it's obviously easier to raise funds for building works on land you own.

A lot is now delivered off site at St Joseph’s which they’ve got the partnership with.

Yes - in term time you have a ton of identical huge black SUVs blocking up Birkfield Drive at the sports entrance, whereas in the holidays its ironically a more catholic collection
