Was exactly how I think we’ll set up for most games this year - fluid between a four and a five. Mostly four with Dara at RB but sitting deeper when Leif was bombing forward, but when we were sitting in a lower block Fatawu dropped back in to let Dara go more narrow and become more of a back five. |  | | |

Getting a bit of déjà vu, here: the team captain - a Centre Back - gets used, instead, in the Right Back position...
Luke Chambers seemed to hate this idea (although there was no other choice at the time).

I was surprised how far forward O'Shea played at times. The whole system was very fluid when we were pushing forwards.
When Humphries came on, he also played very deep for much of the time.
I think fluidity will be the watchword for next season. | | | |
