Anyone know what is happening about those of us with no smart phone ?. Filled in the exemption form weeks ago, ticket office said you will be notified, nothing since! getting anxious now as season ticket was paid for in full several months ago, surely they have a system in place by now, a reply would have been polite at the least. When you’ve got crowds of tens of thousands, people lose or drop and break phones in pubs and stuff before games. They can always print a voucher on the day with a bar code once they verify who you are, I’m sure. So if you don’t hear anything just get there super early but I’m sure you will over the next week or so.
You’re posting on the Internet but have avoided the smart phone technology of the last twenty years! Not taking the mick but I usually thought they’d have gone hand in hand.

My Dad has no phone and no interest in having one so he / we are interested to know what the answer is.
We were on a train last week and as we were stopped somewhere and he commented that everyone on the other platform was playing with mobile phones. I said to him at least they would be able to go and watch football next season… | | | |

Imagine they are sorting out all the digital ticket enquiries first and will contact those that applied for special circumstances once it’s calmed down a bit and that it’ll be within good notice of the Sunderland game.

At Silverstone this year a girl dropped her mobile down a portaloo first day, and of course long drop girl at Glastonbury famously dropped hers, tried to reach down for it and got stuck face down. So yes things can happen to mobiles. |  | | |

Nope. NFC is half as difficult as a QR.
You don’t need to wake the screen, press any buttons, it will just work.
For those with smart watches they won’t even need their phone with them. | | | |
