Strange post given the fact there are many worse places than Billericay

Why?!! I regularly go back to Billericay, have mates that live there, it's ok, there are far more worser places than Billericay

Way back in 1976 I was living at Billericay when Billericay Town made the final of the final of the FA Vase and won in extra time against Stanford Rovers. Great day at Wembley and then a great night back in the Billericay Town Clubhouse including a drink out of the cup when the players arrived there with the trophy. They went on to win the Vase twice more in 77 and 79 which I think is still a record. Great memories of Billericay with plenty of heart shown on the pitch but not a lot of darkness that night although there was hell in my head the next morning!

I’d suggest you travel more if you think Billericay is the heart of darkness.

You’ve never been to Fakenham then? Set aside a few hours of your life and step into that hinterland.

Better to stay silent and be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt

It can't be all bad given it was the inspiration for this song.
