that midfield really was a problem. Rakeem Harper really ended up without a clue how to play for us. Evans was steady enough and is still playing at League 2 level but was so vanilla. Fraser was neat and creative but far too slow. We played him as an 8 , wide left, 10 but he never fitted in anywhere. Came from MK with a decent rep. As said the defence is decent and the attack should have been okay, but clearly wasn't. Pigott, though non-league with Folkestone Invicta is at least enjoying his football now as Folkestone were champions at the 7th level of English football last season.
Genuinely thought it was ridiculous that we'd manage to get Tom Carroll in league one. With hindsight there was a very good reason why he was dropping down a division!
