I absolutely refuse to believe we’d let an experienced striker with some actual Premier League experience go to another club and leave us with a relatively unknown quantity in Emersonn and an Akpom who’s not really pushed on for a few years.

Although I appreciate GON name checked Akpom, and he's had a reasonable pre-season, there's nothing seen so far to suggest he's going to be a successful Premier League striker.
I hope he is, obviously.
The point being, us hanging our hats on those two would be a huge risk and I don't think Enciso goes up top as the third option. | | | |
