I think most of us can pick 2-3 players we will look to upgrade in January if we're doing well.

It’s quite obvious now isn’t it. The introduction of Jack rammed the point home, he’s really making a case this season to be the first choice on the left. I don’t know what happens to Philogene now. I do still think this is why we havent seen this defensive town set up yet under oneil. He wants to get plan A sorted as we do plan A well against the mid to lower sides like we saw against sunderland and palace.. it can win us games

I don't think we will have a tone of funds in Jan as it stands, it's a big shame we could have made an extra 20M across Jack Taylor, Mehmeti and a few others this summer. [Post edited 15 Sep 22:11]

Interesting that Greaves played the whole game. Usually you’d have expected Dara, especially given Greaves and Kipre usually both cover LCB. Dara being captain and having the motor to do two in a week, I was expecting him to start. Given his not even come on, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a Dara/Diop centre back two for Everton, especially given that Ouattara was subbed. |  | | |
