I’m sure they’re all too modest and selfless to ask, but they take donations to keep going if anyone feels inclined to do so.

I’ll do so when I’m back home. Massive well done all who tried so hard to find the lad.

I just read that Leif was supporting with the search and has also donated £2000 to the family? It was just a post on Facebook though, so would need confirming from a more reputable source.

Absolutely awful thing to happen, my boy isn’t too dissimilar to Noah and he has been known to abscond and do a runner occasionally when we’re out and about- he’s only ever left my vision a handful of times, but that feeling when he does is horrendous. I can’t even imagine how the poor family member who was with him feels right now.

R.I.P Noah, my thoughts are with his family.

He was there searching so I’m told by someone involved.

Yeah, straight from the game against Arsenal and he was there until the early hours searching apparently. Always has struck me as a thoroughly decent human being.

These things hit a little different since becoming a parent don’t they.

Desperately sad, I hope his family get all the support they need.

They really do.
I know with my boy, we have to be careful where we take him and when, for these exact kinds of safety reasons. Constant live risk assessment and hyper vigilance is essential if you’ve a neurodivergent kid who can be a runner.

I feel so deeply sad for the family member he was with when he absconded.
If we ever leave my boy with a grandparent, we have to know what they’re doing, where they’re going, so we can advise his to keep all safe and even then, I personally worry like hell about it.
