Who'd have thought.....
This could really get messy. I assume the appeal process will take forever but if the guilty decision is upheld, where does it all end for them?
- individual punishment via demotions, points deductions and fines
- Sued by the clubs that missed out on Europe/Got relegated etc
- Sued by sponsors who were unknowingly financing a team in Europe by cheating (maybe tv documentary as well)
- Sued by individual players/managers that missed out on performance bonuses (e.g. Mourinho missing out on his bonus for winning the prem with united)
- Further sanctions from Uefa?

It wasn't allowed to happen; that's the point. City hid their cheating, and it's unlikely anything about this would have come to light, if not for those internal emails getting hacked and leaked. |  | | |
