Haha "too uncomfortable", "don't want to deal with" - neither are true, they are just irrelevant to this topic.
"If it's a random person stopping a shoplifter, that is indeed praiseworthy." - Jenrick's pretty random, so glad we finally agree!
On that note, let's leave it at that. All the best.
Jenrick confronting a shoplifter and presenting himself as someone willing to take action against shoplifting, while his parliamentary record shows that he voted against the government's Crime and Policing Bill - legislation that included measures specifically designed to tackle shoplifting - you think is "irrelevant to this topic."

LOLLERS.
Irrelevant to my post yes. My post is about someone stopping a shoplifter, regardless of who they are or their background.

Nope. It's just about a man, doing the right thing, regardless of who he is.
Is anyone else tired of this rubbish? Pretending to be an idiot in order to push a ridiculous agenda. What’s the point? Many serious questions I’m sure.

You forgot the Slits.
Put the cheddar in the pocket Put the rest under the jacket Talk to the cashier, he won't suspect And if he does... Do a runner!
Ten quid for the lot We pay f**k all Babylonian won't lose much And we'll have dinner tonight Do a runner!
Was previously unaware of its existence. Will add it instantly to my pro a bit of shoplifting play list.
If we are discussing shoplifting i think this is possibly the correct place to confess and apologize for my childhood shoplifting spree.
I'd like to apologize to the owner of Jim's Tackle and Sports of Haverhill High Street (im guessing the owner was jim) I stole both the Man City and Spuds Subbuteo teams on the Monday after the 1981 cup final
Please except my apologies, I would happily return them, but most of um have been knelt on an squashed at this point

Mine wasn't quite as ambitious as that, just involving sweets, given my parents would have questioned me if I had turned up with evidence that it was not possible to eat
It struck me as the sort of thing that kids did to test the boundaries and find their way morally, largely aided by egging each other on.
But I gave up a life of crime at around the age of 10.
Having said that, there was a big market at my school in the fifth form in stolen revision guides, and I have to confess that I was guilt of handling stolen goods.

That's quite good going, those subbuteo team boxes weren't small, league up from a few pick 'n' mix slid into a pocket. Not that I approve of your actions of course.

It took 2 trips to Jim's to pull off the heist. The Subbuteo was crazily positioned at the back of the shop, near the fishing rods and miles from the till.
It was a bit outta character really and I'm not sure what drove me to do it beyond my desperate need to recreate the cup final. I dont think I admitted to anyone until I was an adult.
Was the beginning and the end of my short lived shoplifting career
