It really is incredible.

MA has had his criticism for the Farage thing and the ribbing he gets for being a bit David Brent, but what he and the Gamechangers have done for our club is incredible.

Indeed it very much is, though a few seem to still prefer banging on about hosting a divisive politician at the club. Dog with a bone springs to mind. Still be chewing it come next season I wouldn't be surprised.

He'd probably make a perfectly good COO. Seems adept at building & development projects. CEOs must make strategic decisions, act as figurehead, and keep the fanbase, community, sponsors, & key personnel onside. Ashton proved that's not him last year. The Peter Principle in action. Promoted to the point of incompetence. Agree re Gamechanger.

Stop and look at where this club is now compared to when Gamechanger bought it and Ashton was instilled at leader. You may not like him but we're in the Premier League and have just unveiled an unbelievable training centre that we couldn't have ever dreamed of a few years ago. It confuses me how your simple dislike of his brentisms and style cloud your view of the bigger picture. Being a CEO isn't about being liked it's about making the company successful. And on that topic....

The world of football is light years away from normal life. If the club does not keep up with other clubs both on and off the pitch these pampered players won't come.
It has been said that with regards to this Manchester City charge that they are responsible for how much players cost both from a purchase price and wages.
When you play some of these teams you are playing against players costing over £100 million. I think it was when we played Liverpool, they could have had three players on the pitch at the same time all over £100 million. That's insane.
Players like Haarland on £500,000 a week. Is it any wonder it is necessary to extract as much from fans as possible. And yes I know the main income is from Sky and sponsorship.
