He’s clearly a very good championship player, but looks like a little boy in the Prem I’m happy with last nights point. Forest are a good side and I think they’ll finish above us. They could have easily won 4 or 5-1.

Yes Fatawu was also the one who was most at fault for Forest's goal. Let the scorer Nico Williams run past him, while he ambled back disinterested. Williams is Forest's left-back, so Fatawu's man. Neither Fatawu nor Philogene pulled up any trees going forward, although Jaden came closer to scoring than Fatawu. Yet only Jaden is receiving a pile-on here. [Post edited 24 Oct 13:16]

Maeda was great when he came on. No idea why Philogene is getting jumped in this week. Really tough game against a very sound defensive premier League outfit. If anything i thought Philogene was better than Fatawu who also struggled. Both good players

As I said, he’s a very good championship player ( last season) We haven’t got time to bring him up to speed, he’s no A teenager

Jaden's made seven PL starts for us. Most of those came age 22. By his excellent performances last season, he's earned more of a chance than some are affording here. Neither performances were poor this season. He was better than Fatawu last night. Let's not forget that of all our attackers, Jaden is our best possession winner. Highest among them in interceptions and tackles. Has been in all three seasons he's played for us. See Fotmob. Better than Clarke defensively, so worth considering in the round. It's not all about goals and assists. We lost neither game he started this season.

Plenty way. McKenna played Philogene over Clarke. GON plays Philogene over Clarke. Higher pedigree and reputation in English youth levels, more in demand by higher level clubs. I like Clarke. I like both of them. Really good players that are fun to watch. But Clarke is technically nowhere near as sound on the ball as Philogene and is very unorthodox. He's an excellent wild card against tiring defenders. Philogene is better at pressing and is very good and nicking the ball off players. He's a better starting player with a higher ceiling (a year and a half younger than Clarke). That's not true about Clarke. He regularly disappointed when starting even in the champ. His best football for town has been off the bench against tiring legs. Personally it's Philogene or Maeda for the starting slots. I'd favour Maeda away and against top 6-7 sides at home. Philogene and Clarke as finishers.

| Philogene must be incredible in training on 11:31 - Oct 24 by burnbudgiesburn | I don't agree. It wasn't even a new agent, just his original one joining an agency which you don't move to unless you are angling for a transfer. Then did his business on social media via his agent / fabrizio. This is not 'nothing' I'm a big Jaden fan, think he's still a little off match sharpness given the injury pre-season and think he has a lot to offer. However, it is clear the agent shenanigans rubbed people up the wrong way and he was clearly angling for a move. |
It seems to me that his agent is always looking for another payday. He probably saw how well Jaden did in the Championship last season, and said to him he could get a move to a bigger PL club. Unfortunately, for him, no teams seemed to be interested in paying what we value him at. I'm sure Jaden just wants to play football, and he leaves everything else to his agent. He certainly doesn't come across as someone that will kick up a fuss.

Thing with this tho. If youre happy to concentrate on your football. Wouldnt you change agent if all they are interested in is getting your name out for moves. I know its their job... but surely thats when you as a player wants it not when the agent wants it. I remember omari saying he goes wherever his agent tells him to go. Seems mad to me.
