Wasn't Broadhead £7m at 27, whilst still in the Champ? |
Left us for £7m after playing reasonably regularly in our PL season and the season before was one of our best players in the championship. Can't see why that would justify a valuation of £8m for Taylor who hasn't played a minute this season and, whilst had a good championship season, was definitely someone who was filling a hole
I absolutely cannot see anyone spending £8m in January for someone who hasn't played a single second of football this season and who will be in the last year of their contract next season |  | | |

No I can't see it either, but I don't think it's "absolutely wild" given what Broadhead went for (could actually rise to £10m) more than a year ago. |  |

If a player is valued at say 2m does not mean they will attract offers of 2m, no where close.
Some of the valuations I have read today for the player mentioned in the OP are 10m+. No champ team will pay 10m+ for Mehmeti plus add ons and wages, will they? |  | | |

Got to be a couple of quality loans we can bring in as we've not used one yet and there surely will be a couple who have played but not as much as they would have liked too.

Not sure I really get the Broadhead comparison other than they're similar ages
