It’s what his role is. You should have worked that out by now. The issue is when he does go forward we need to still cover the space in behind him and we’re not consistently doing that.
The more this goes on I wonder if those saying we need to go 3-5-2 have a point, but it blunts us offensively and that’s where we’ll salvage enough points to stay up. |

It’s a trade off for bombing forward isn’t it. Very few attacking fullbacks are able to defend solidly - even Trent had his critics for that.
Perhaps a FB bombing forward is a luxury a promoted team can ill afford. leif’s goal contributions are too few to make it worthwhile surely. | | | |

I think with leif we are at a cross roads. I dont think he can get any better now and im not sure he is good enough as a fullback.
If we play wingbacks i think he is ok but soon we need someone who could be both. | |

Why? I'm not disputing Leif's ability, but he was very reckless to get caught so far out of position. He's a defender first and foremost. And his defending recently has been poor. |
