Yep, I've arrived 35 minutes late before and got in.
I think they hold a turnstile for 30 minutes usually, and even after that, there's been a steward on an exit gate who has let me in. |  |

A fair few years back I finished work late in Vauxhall, then had to race to Vicarage Rd to catch our match.
I eventually arrived to a locked Away gate on the 40th min. I explained my situation to a steward. He opened up the gate. Almost exactly when he did this noble gesture, the home crowd roared. We were 2-0 down.
"Balls. At least I can have a pint to drown my sorrows"
Only to be told there was a zero drink policy for the away fans.
"Well, in that case. Seeing as I've 'officially' not seen any of the game - Can you let me out now to the boozer round the corner so I can grab a quick pint(s) - then could you officially allow me back in again as the 2nd half commences?"
The steward said that was fine & duly let me out. |  | | |

I struggle for 15mins to be fair.
It is quite annoying that certain grounds have zero booze policy for away fans during midweek games. Assuming it's just an excuse to lay less staff on in the away end. | | | |
