Duckenfield was a broken man at the second Inquests.

He knows he has to go to bed each night knowing what happened....

He was and is.

Also, having been lucky enough to meet him on three occasions, he is very nice to know.

Hope this thread does not degenerate.

I will, although not sure when it might be.

The three times that I have met him were at KJ's Children In Need quiz night the November before last, we traveled together to an away game at Brighton and I met him again in Fanzone last game of last season.

There might have been a fourth time if I had understood a message that he left on my mobile!

BL was the person who completely changed my view on the Hillsborough disaster, I felt really bad that I believed the lies for so long. So I would like to thank him for that, his blog also made me understand why the campaign for justice kept going so long and why all involved made sure they succeeded in the end. I saw him talking on BBC2 Newsnight about the disaster and he came across very well.

Likewise, he changed my view.

My opinion remains that Liverpool fans have a massive amount of thieving, trouble making b4astards*** but on the reasons why the disaster happened leading to all those terrible deaths he is 100% correct.
