If Ipswich had been promoted last season, what sort of players do you think we'd have been capable of getting?

Wolves have signed Moutinho, Cardiff linked with the likes of Welbeck, Burnley stealing Hart for just £3.5 million.

Raises the question - what sort of players do you think we would be capable of buying?

Moutinho is past his best. Same for Hart, have to remember Hart has had two very mediocre seasons. TBH I'm surprised Hart cost a fee.

Burnley were absolutely stuffed: Heaton and Pope both injured and 4 days till the start of the season. Needed somebody big enough to come in and not be phased by it all, but also willing to probably step down when either of the other two is fully fit. Joe Hart is made to measure for this situation, but the fee was because Burnley were begging.

Cardiff won't get Welbeck, he's also been linked to Everton, Palace and Southampton - all are more likely than Cardiff.

Mick still wouldn't have spent Fulham/Wolves amounts he'd try to do what Burnley did 1st time they went up under Dyche and plan to be in a better position to get promoted again if we got relegated.
