Acoustics from north stand 10:42 - May 7 with 1400 views

I had to sit in the upper tier for the Leeds game, and couldn’t hear anything from section 5. Is there any boffins out there? Could the acoustics be improved at Portman road at all?
Especially as there is no more season tickets available there,so will have to be upper tier for all next year. It feels like a different game, i have sat in both and am gutted I will miss out On all the atmosphere next season.

I have never sat there but know people who have who say that they can hear it pretty well. I certainly think the Club could perhaps stream the sound into the Upper tier using microphones which might help.

Why not move to SBR end of Co-op stand you will see and hear SBRL then.

They could build a big wall in front of the lower tier angled to channel the sound towards the upper tier.

it might also help if they turned the seats round, the way they face at the moment the noise just dissipates onto the field.

Perhaps if the players took on the singing role on behalf of the fans, and dispersed themselves around the centre circle?
