Anyone at Foxhall? on 20:17 - Oct 15 with 2303 views | Dubtractor | I had a burger at Foxhall stadium in about 1995 that to this day ranks as the worst burger I've ever eaten. Possibly the worst thing I've ever eaten full stop. The warning signs were there when the offending 'meat' was taken from a tin, where it was resting in some kind of brine, before being grilled.

You don't spell Louis with a W or a G. Were your parents illiterate?

That made me laugh. The worst I ever had was at Fulham in about 96 before a League Cup game. Milton scored and was carried about in celebration by his team mates like a dead body 1-1 and we smashed them in the second leg, I think. Anyway, my mates and I had enjoyed a beer or two and tootled up 10 mins before kick off starving. There was the burger van with that magnetic aroma of aged burnt fat, onions, processed cheese and some form of meat, gristle fat and unmentionables of dubious origin and vintage. What the hell, we chorused, 3 cheeseburgers for us. OMG, I chomped into it like a lion on a wildebeest and instantly regretted it. Grey, flaccid, tepid, possibly the most disgusting thing I’ve ever attempted to eat. I rushed to the portaloo and that was a massive mistake too. One of my mates threw his at the mush in the van, the other ate the lot. He was from Crewe - a hardy bunch. Still a few beers and crisps after the game solved the hunger issue.
