Agree 100% . Amazing what he achieved spending virtually nothing to get us promoted. Steve Whitton signing was the key.
Spending virtually nothing and managing the squad as a group and individuals has been a characteristic of our better managers and better periods.
Whenever we've gone for new players as the answer and/or increased our ambition in the market, it seems to have gone t1ts up and we end up going backwards.
