Former conservative adviser on Sky saying Boris should be put up to talk 10:23 - May 24 with 1198 views | sparks | How can they do that? Put him out there- and he will have to deal with what he knew about Cummings lockdown breaches. Either Cummings has misled the PM, who he advises, or the PM knew full well about the breaches (and the wilful deception evident in Cummings' wife's article) and chose to say and do nothing. Which makes him wilfully complicit and culpable. Shame there is no PMQs this week- the situation is perfect for Starmer...

Raab may himself not have been in the "need to know" loop.

5 days later he went to hospital. He was supposedly still working a bit there. His chief adviser will have been in touch, one imagines... Someone either knew, or Cummings actively misled them all- making his position even more untenable...

In all fairness the list of 'things Raab actually knows' is probably fairly short about a wide nature of subjects.

Just watched the Marr stuff. Extraordinary. The reason he knows that there wasnt a second trip, is because it says so in the no.10 statement. Doesnt appear to have been briefed, spoken to, communicated with the person who would have the actual information, at all.
