Any player who signs for any club will be 'in talks' beforehand. If you followed transfer updates from every club in the country you'd get 'xyz in talks'. |  |

It is a well known fact that at every other club there is a maximum of 10 minutes between a club making an offer and all the paperwork being signed-except on transfer deadline day because that is on SKY. |  | | |
