He's not really. You are both right. I accepted Mick had to go. Not because of his management but because it had become so toxic with the section of fans ('numbskulls') incessant nonsense.

We would, however, had had a much smoother handover to his successor had the numbskulls not decided that him going wasn't enough and they had to have blood as well.

Without a shadow of a doubt Mick got us punching above our weight, but I’d hate to think what the place would be like if he was still here. His last 2 years were bad enough; it was poison. We’d also dropped off the pace a bit. His last 2 seasons weren’t the best. There was only so much he could do.
