Full lockdown ---> will football carry on? 11:46 - Oct 30 with 842 views | Theonlywayisup | It's seems inevitable to me that a 2nd full lockdown will take place eventually. Personally I don't agree with it however think it will happen. If it does unlike last time do we expect football to carry on? I know there are more important things but I actually think for a lot of people confined to their homes and with little else to do, watching the football is a healthy escape.
Full lockdown ---> will football carry on? on 11:52 - Oct 30 with 821 views | SaleAway | I don't think there will be a "full" lockdown - I can see non essential shops, pubs and restaurants and entertainment venues shutting, a bit like wales currently is. But people are still allowed to go to work - and as football has "covid secure" protocols in place - you could argue that they can carry on.

I'd be very surprised if there isn't another national lockdown. Cases are escalating as are deaths and a lot of experts are saying that tier 3 won't be enough to stop that. France have already gone with a national lockdown and Germany have a partial national lockdown. The tier system might be will conceived but it seems a bit to complicated and the end result of it will be everyone in tier 3 or tier 4 anyway so seems pointless getting to that point in small steps. I'm not suggesting that we won't have national restrictions, I'm just suggesting that it will have limited scope, to allow those businesses that can to carry on, but to stop non-essential social exposure...

That's probably about right. But should we be going further? France are only a bit ahead of us on the curve and have locked down and you need a permit to leave your house. Schools are still open there though although children over 6 need to wear a face mask. SB
