Zeki Fryers and Brett Pitman 11:43 - Jan 10 with 1707 viewsBluefish

We do not have a single supporter that thinks either of those players should be back at our club or that they would get close to our team. I expect similar for the likes of Caddis but the difference in what coaching to be an effective team was obvious again yesterday. It is embarrassing how far ahead of the league we are in resources, this is not about underspend or being backed it is about a completely lack of tactics

Was impressed with Zeki at CB, and considering how bad out backline is, yes I would have him back, whether CB or LB he would be an upgrade.

Pitman, no chance over Norwood.

I do understand the point you are trying to make, but the harsh reality of yesterday’s starting XI was that too many are bluffers, not good enough, nowhere near the top 6 level in League 1.

Dozzell & Woolfenden, Dobra has a bright bright future, but can’t be relied on each week. That’s 2 or 3 players who I would deem good enough in that XI to get you out of this league.

The fryers performance at Huddersfield was possibly the worst I'm recent history. It would have still be horrendously bad amongst these past couple of seasons

I was there (living in the midlands at the time), was an absolute shocker.

Doesn’t mean that he is a bad player though by any stretch. I was impressed yesterday with him. Looks at the he has found a home.

Put it this way, would have him over Ward, Kenlock and McGuinness either in a LB or CB role.

They weren't good enough when we were good, now in their latter years they are schooling us

What a time to be alive!

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

Agree v pitman but even now he’s reached ‘fat plumber’ status, he was still out jumping chambers and wolf

I would describe it as fatter plumber because he wasn't all that mobile when we had him

He has technique and a touch but his ceiling was only ever going to be Championship level

I really liked Pitman, proper forward, nice touch, good finisher, smart, played with swagger. Always good for a goal off the bench.

Problem was when he started it was to play the Murphy role when he obviously wasn't a target man.

I survived Ipswich 0-0 Burton

He had ability for sure and he clearly fitted better into that Bournemouth side but he was what he was

His natural athleticism was always going to limit them

There's a few about of similar Ilk, I put Chopra and Billy Sharp in a similar category although I prefer Sharp out of the three
