Bit bizarre imo

Radio Suffolk is part of matchday. Surely just let them do commentary using I follow.

I get it's not quite the same as being there as Evans would say but Its strange not having our games covered by our own people

Because iFollow comes through the Internet, whilst Radio Suffolk is done on the radio and then streamed through the Internet so there would be a significant time lag.

That's forgetting the Covid restrictions of not travelling and staying local etc.

Maybe Brenner being unwell has something to do with it?

Could they have not done the commentary from the video feed?

The commentary would then be many seconds out of sync with the video!

No, it’s BBC decision as Swindon announced it before our game that it won’t be happening

Given the amount of sh1t BW gets on here I would've thought people will be happy about it.

Last thing we all need to worry about ! , players are not allowed to play a different formation is my real concern with football , not who is going to tell us we have yet another one in !

That's what they are doing.

That’s what they’re doing for the radio broadcast because that doesn’t suffer from the same delays that internet streaming does. If they tried to add the Radio Suffolk commentary, based on the iFollow video feed to the iFollow stream, the delay would be far too noticeable. As it is, anyone watching iFollow and listening to Radio Suffolk will likely experience a noticeable difference as individual iFollow subscribers internet delays are not necessarily the same.

Would be about 30 seconds difference as Brenner will be watching the iFollow coverage, without taking into account the sorts of delay you point out.
