Pitch v Town.. 16:50 - Feb 9 with 940 viewsstrikalite

The state of the pitch has to make Posh big favourites doesn't it? They've played on it a good few times now in this condition, Lee Bowyer said it was "unplayable"...even if it's Posh players knowing what boots to wear they'll have an advantage..

Can imagine Barry Fry is up there now rubbing his hands together as our boys run out all looking at each other saying WTF is this..

Yeah, perhaps won't be conducive to our free flowing passing game.

We'll probably lose thanks to a Posh player latching onto a bobble in the pitch when we're engaged in one our 'dozen passes around the back' attacking moves.

Lambert out.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Yes it will certainly stop us playing our usual free flowing football that’s for sure.

Lee Bowyer statement on 17:08 - Feb 9 with 30 viewsunstableblue

Lee Bowyer said recently - "I thought it was a horrible game to watch. The conditions were horrendous. The pitch was not playable. It was very scrappy. It became a bit of a battle."

Poll: How many points will Town get from 5 (Wat, Boro, Hull, Cov, Hudd)?

I doubt they’ve played on it when it’s -3 and freezing. A long stud, which would probably have been the choice on Saturday, isn’t going to suit once it starts to get a bit crusty.

Most of our squad has played League One, Two and non-league football for big chunks of their career. They should be more than used to playing on a sht, frozen surface in front of empty stands on a cold Tuesday night before. It's to no ones advantage, our own pitch is a state these days, we have nothing to fear from the pitch - it's the fact they are a better side than us which is the bigger issue.
